Our Yosemite Package
for weddings or any of the events listed above consists of the following as applicable
♥ Our ordained Yosemite minister officiates for your ceremony; or we welcome you to bring your own officiant, which occasionally couples are able to do ~ in which case, in addition to all of the applicable services below, we provide a contingency plan to fall back on when needed. If, for whatever reason, your officiant is unable to make it to Yosemite, even at the last minute ~ which definitely happens here! ~ our minister can serve as the officiant for your ceremony if you'd like, per our "uniquely designed Yosemite ceremony" described below.
♥ We provide our "made easy" step-by-step guidance for your planning ~ helping make the process quite streamlined at a venue which can otherwise pose some real challenges ~ including insights from years of experience in Yosemite with everything from Park Service related items to ceremony planning to optional amenities such as photography, flowers, music, videography, formal wear, caterers, bakers, lodging, regional travel, receptions, amazing low-cost Yosemite celebration alternatives following your ceremony, and various other items of interest to you for your special occasion.
♥ Assistance is provided for you in choosing from numerous year-round location options for your celebration ~ at incredibly beautiful, easily accessible sites throughout Yosemite National Park ~ many that are "hidden and off the beaten aisle" ~ as well as favorite locations all around the Yosemite Region, and at desired locations statewide ~ all based upon your interests, budget, time of year, day of the week, number of guests, type of celebration afterwards, and various other location related factors.

We make it a goal to quickly get back to you with numerous Yosemite area options and creative ideas as you plan from a distance.

Careful attention to details is provided for either your short-notice elopement (or other type of event) or your long-term planning, tailoring your Yosemite Package to your particular interests, budget, and travel plans.
♥ We provide assistance to your guests, whom you may refer to us with questions regarding lodging or other Yosemite-related matters, thus taking that pressure off of you to try to research those items and get back to them.

We provide a uniquely designed Yosemite ceremony ~ offering creative ideas for adding your own special elements, such as the vows that you say to each other, favorite poetry or music, Yosemite-related readings like those we can suggest by John Muir, thoughts about your own unique relationship, your personal spiritual reflections, special vows or comments to your children, special memories, etc. ~ all in addition to integrating some usual Christian ceremony elements referring to God and Christ, corresponding, as is standard, to the officiant's background ~ while at the same time incorporating your own traditions as desired.

We address the required legal elements of a wedding or elopement, complete and return the marriage license, and handle any needed follow-up by the officiant.

We provide an attractive personalized Yosemite ceremony booklet and coordinating certificate suitable for framing.

At your request and at no additional cost, we are delighted to take some traditional and candid photos with your camera at your ceremony site ~ or you may prefer to use our full photography services which is a discounted add-on package option (see link below).

*SPECIAL NOTES
♥ The fee for our Yosemite Package is the same for any of the events listed at the top of this page ~ whether it's a Wedding, an Elopement, a Marriage Vow Renewal, or any of the other types of special events listed ~ regardless of the number of guests or our specific services that may be desired and utilized by the couple ~ as our time investment with each couple is essentially the same for all of our events.

People occasionally use our interest-free payment plan option of several payments made in advance of their event, that we arrange together with them.
♥
An additional fee for our services may apply for events held at locations requiring a fair amount of hiking or held at more distant locations statewide.
♥ Event Packages include our services and products only. They do not include other items such as food, the optional rental of a facility, any park entrance fees or permits, or your California marriage license as applicable which, in keeping with our State and County guidelines, you will need to acquire in advance in either the nearby town of Mariposa or from another California county and bring with you to your ceremony.

A wedding permit issued by the Park Service (usually $150) is handled by the Park Service directly with the couple; but as with other Yosemite related matters, always feel free to check with us. We can usually offer guidance that can be very helpful.
