For Yosemite Weddings

There are numerous and varying types of lodging establishments, both inside and outside Yosemite. Though lodging inside Yosemite is often booked months in advance, same-day lodging reservations can usually be obtained in nearby communities just outside Yosemite, such as Mariposa (888.554.9013) on the Highway 140 route into Yosemite, Oakhurst (559.683.7766) on the Highway 41 route into Yosemite, Groveland (800.449.9120) on the Highway 120 route into Yosemite from the west, or Lee Vining (760.647.6629) on the Highway 120 route into Yosemite from the east (the only route that closes for the winter season).

Inside Yosemite there are three hotels which are all very nice, The  Ahwahnee, the Yosemite Lodge, and the Victorian Wawona Hotel. For lodging inside Yosemite at any of these three hotels, call 559.252.4848. If they should be booked up, just keep calling back each day, as they often have cancellations.

Just outside Yosemite there are many good lodging establishments at which reservations are seldom a problem, even on short notice, such as the Yosemite View Lodge at 209.379.2681 and Cedar Lodge at 209.379.2612, both along the Merced River (about 30 minutes driving time down the Merced River from Yosemite Valley). Tenaya Lodge, at 800.635.5807, is a four diamond resort at the south entrance to Yosemite, near the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and Wawona, and about an hour drive from Yosemite Valley.
